Smart City Care provides a range of home and transport services including but not limited to AC repair and maintenance, home cleaning, packers and movers, goods transport, car carrier transport, bike transport, and international moving services. Our services are available across multiple cities in India, and we operate with our own trained professionals rather than outsourcing to third parties.

The specific scope, pricing, and availability of services may vary by location and are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

2. Booking and Confirmation

When you book a service through our website, app, or any other channel, you will receive a booking confirmation via email or SMS. This confirmation constitutes a binding agreement between you and Smart City Care for the specified service.

• Bookings are subject to availability and our team's capacity in your location.
• You must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including your address, contact details, and service requirements.
• Smart City Care reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if the information provided is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time to avoid cancellation charges. Same-day cancellations may attract a fee as specified in our cancellation policy.
• We will make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window; however, delays due to unforeseen circumstances (traffic, weather, prior job overrun) may occur. We will notify you promptly in such cases.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Smart City Care services, you agree to:

• Provide a safe and accessible working environment for our professionals.
• Ensure that all required utilities (water, electricity) are available and functioning at the time of service.
• Be present (or designate a responsible adult) at the service location during the scheduled appointment.
• Inform us in advance of any special requirements, hazardous conditions, or items that require special handling.
• Treat our professionals with respect and dignity. Any form of harassment, abuse, or discrimination will result in immediate termination of service without refund.
• Secure or remove valuables, fragile items, and pets from the work area prior to service commencement unless they are the subject of the service itself.
• Not attempt to directly solicit or hire Smart City Care professionals for private work outside of the platform. Violation of this clause may result in account suspension and legal action.

4. Service Provision

Smart City Care is committed to delivering high-quality services through trained and verified professionals. We adhere to the following standards:

• All Smart City Care professionals undergo background verification and skills training before being deployed.
• We use industry-standard tools, equipment, and materials for all services.
• If a service is not completed to your satisfaction, you must report the issue within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a re-service or provide a suitable resolution at no additional cost.
• Smart City Care does not guarantee outcomes that are beyond the control of our professionals, including pre-existing damage, structural issues, or conditions caused by third-party products.
• Estimated timeframes for service completion are indicative. Actual time may vary depending on the complexity of the job.

5. Payment

Payment terms and conditions for Smart City Care services are as follows:

• Prices for services are as quoted at the time of booking and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments may be made online (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallets) or in cash at the time of service, depending on the service type and location.
• Invoices and receipts will be provided upon request or automatically via email for online transactions.
• Smart City Care reserves the right to revise pricing at any time. Changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings.
• In the event of additional work required beyond the original scope of the booking, our professional will inform you and obtain your consent before proceeding. Additional charges may apply.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. Refund eligibility is subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6. User Conduct

Users of the Smart City Care platform agree not to engage in any conduct that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Specifically, you must not:

• Use the platform for any fraudulent or illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, its servers, or any data associated with it.
• Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
• Post or share false, misleading, or inaccurate information about Smart City Care or its services.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to access the platform without our explicit written consent.
• Engage in conduct that disrupts or interferes with the normal operation of the platform or other users' experience.

Smart City Care reserves the right to terminate or restrict access to accounts that violate these conduct standards, without notice and without liability.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, all content on the Smart City Care website and platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software — is the property of Smart City Care or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, visit, or otherwise exploit any portion of our content or platform for commercial purposes without our express written permission. Unauthorized use may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names displayed on the platform are proprietary to Smart City Care or their respective owners. Nothing on this platform should be construed as granting any licence or right to use any trademark without written permission.

• Any conduct or content of any third party on the platform.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
• Any damage or loss caused by pre-existing conditions at the service location that were not disclosed at the time of booking.
• Delays or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, government actions, floods, fires, earthquakes, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, or internet outages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in respect of which the claim arises.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Smart City Care, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
• Your use of the platform or services in a manner not authorised by these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right, privacy right, or proprietary right.
• Any claim that information or content you submitted to the platform caused damage to a third party.
