Smart City Care provides home services including AC repair, cleaning, packers & movers, goods transport and related services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through our website, phone or other channels.
By booking a service with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. We encourage you to read this document carefully before making a booking.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations are accepted subject to the following conditions:

Refund Eligibility
A refund may be issued in the following situations:
- The service was prepaid and cancelled within the eligible cancellation window.
- Smart City Care was unable to send a professional for the confirmed booking.
- The service was not completed due to our professional's fault or negligence.
- The service delivered was materially different from what was agreed at the time of booking.
- A duplicate payment was made for the same booking.
Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction arising from subjective preferences where the service was delivered as agreed.
Refund Timeline
Once a refund request is approved, the amount will be returned to your original payment method:

We initiate refunds within 2 business days of approval. The actual credit time depends on your bank or payment provider.
Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The service has been fully and satisfactorily completed.
- Cancellation is made after the professional has arrived and begun work.
- The customer was unavailable at the scheduled time and place of service.
- Dissatisfaction based on personal preference rather than a service failure.
- Delay or inconvenience caused by factors outside our control (traffic, weather, etc.).
- Consumable materials already used as part of the service.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a confirmed booking at no charge if done more than 12 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling requests within 12 hours of the appointment are subject to availability and may attract a nominal fee.

Service Guarantee
Smart City Care stands behind the quality of our services. If you are not satisfied with the work done:
- Report the issue to us within 24 hours of service completion.
- We will arrange a re-visit by our team at no additional cost to correct any genuine fault.
- If we are unable to rectify the issue to your satisfaction, we will discuss a partial or full refund on a case-by-case basis.
